AnimePenguin is the brainchild of a number of different peoples ideas, discussions and idle chatter. What began as a simple forum started by Jamezterr slowly started to become something new and different.

Today AnimePenguin is begining to become that new idea, with artwork created by members of the community (Big thanks to Lyenyo (aka Sour), Erwin (aka Zuz) and Nirosaki) and features requested and designed around the community's wishes, we are happy to bring to you AnimePenguin - Amethyst Release.

Over the next few weeks, we plan to polish up many of the functions that you see dotted about the site, and make the site much more than just another Anime site.
